we are using s4 hana embedded TM. My query is related to resource/vehicle . The requirment is the vehicle in TM should be inactive (/not visible in Transportation cockpit /POP up error message that vehicle cannot be used ) when the vechicle is under maintaince in SAP PM . we are using s4 hana system . As there is not direct inetgration between PM and TM . We are also not using pp/DS or apo . Please suggest any other option to fetch this requirement

Hi sm1604,

Indeed, as you mentioned there is no integration between the equipment of Asset Management and the resource of SAP Transportation Management, but you can use the standard functionality of downtimes.

This will help you to define downtimes for resources when are under maintenance. Also, you can define it for drivers (Business Partners) in absences and non-working time scenarios. Please, check the documentation here: Definition of Downtimes.

Thanks for your reply . It is really helpful.

But this is like we are defining the downtime in master data of resource . But it is also possible that there is no certainity that when teh vehicle will under maintainace in PM .

We were thinking like whenever a maintainace order is created for a vehicle, at the same time that vehicle will not be available in transporttaion cockpit. Some validation .
