S4 2021 - Mass creation of transportation lanes/zones

We have TM on S4 2021. What is the best way to mass create transportation lanes and zones? Before S4 we could have used an LSMW but not sure we can anymore. Or is a custom program the only way?

In general you can still use LSMW in S/4HANA.

LSMW as such is not a Fiori application. Still you can use LSMW to load any kind of data, no matter if that data is used in SAP GUI or Fiori apps.

Transaction recording is only one of the methods to load data in LSMW, next to direct input and BAPIs. AFAIK you can not record a Fiori app and use the recording in LSMW.

There are two ways for mass creation of zones, you can review KBA - 2538890 - Mass creation of transportation zones in SAP Transportation Management for the method that best suits your scenario.

For lanes and other master data, you can check the Scenario Builder available with S/4 HANA TM for mass creation.
