S&OP Plug-in Instllation Issue IBP

Dear Experts,

Recently our Windows 10 got some updates and due to that Microsoft Office has been also updated to 2016. Previously we were working on Excel-2013. Now we are not able to install S&OP plug-in and getting below error.

We are having Windows 10-64 bit and excel 2016 of 64 bit too.

S&OP Version: Version 3.0.3.0

Excel S&OP add-in version-

SOPEXCELADDON02_3-10013248

Kindly let us know if 2016 excel is not supported by IBP S&OP.

Hi Gaurav,

This error message is expected, since Office 2016 does not have VBA embedded anymore. This blog post suggests a workaround: https://blogs.sap.com/2014/08/11/installing-epm-add-in-on-microsoft-office-2013/

However, even after successfully installing SOP 3.0.3.0 and SOP 3.0.4.1 in my Office 2016 by following the workaround, the SOP ribbon did not show in Excel, so I cannot guarantee that the 3.0 version is supported in Office version > 2013.
