S/4 QM-EWM Source inspection

Dear all,

I have one question about a scenario we are tying to implement for my client (S/4 HANA 1809 with Embedded EWM).

There are two types of inspection:

-Source inspection: puchase order is created, a quality inspection lot is created with QI07 (a quality info record is created). Usage decision is done and products are putaway in the Warehouse without any additionnal inspection lot creation

-Inspection at goods receipt: the inspection lot is trigerred at goods receipt

Now, when the product is set with source inspection, what we want to achieve is that:

-If the product is set with source inspection category control and that in case the inspection lot is not created in QI07 or it is created but no usage decision is done, then an inspection lot should be created at goods receipt

I tried to perform some tests with the current configuration but I don't know if we can achieve this when using EWM:

Inspection type Z001 for the source inspection:

Inspection type Z1701 for inspection lot creation in EWM:

Set up in the material master:

Can you please let me know if this feasible in standard?

Hi Alexis Lefevre,

As per my understanding, it is not possible in Standard.

I guess this BADI: /SCWM/EX_QM_INSP_RELEVANCE would helpful for your requirement (creation of inspection lot relevance check while Goods Receipt in EWM - Fetch Source inspection is created or UD is finished then allow to create Inspection lot from EWM )

Greetings!

I am also trying to use the BADI /SCWM/EX_QM_INSP_RELEVANCE to stop creating Inspection Lot in Embedded EWM S4 2020.

I am able to achieve it, but the stock type still remains as Quality i:e Q2(QQ) instead of FF(Un-restricted).

Can you please suggest, how can I change the stock type to un-restricted?
