Folks,

I have a requirement to round WT qty to available qty. I set Round whole unit to 5 "Round to available qty". Storage behavior is standard. When I create a replenishment request for 1 qty system is creating task for 1 only and not for entire HU qty. What am I missing?

  1. Define Warehouse Process Type:

    • Go to transaction code SPRO and navigate to "Extended Warehouse Management" -> "Cross-Process Settings" -> "Define Warehouse Process Type."
    • Create a new process type or use an existing one.
    • Configure relevant settings such as the picking strategy, stock removal strategy, replenishment strategy, etc.
  2. Define Storage Type for Replenishment:

    • In the same menu path, navigate to "Define Storage Type for Replenishment."
    • Create a new storage type or select an existing one.
    • Specify the relevant settings for replenishment, such as the source storage types, replenishment control indicators, maximum pick quantity, etc.
  3. Define Replenishment Control Indicators:

    • Proceed to "Define Replenishment Control Indicators."
    • Create new indicators or use existing ones.
    • Assign storage types, movement types, and other control parameters for replenishment.
  4. Configure Replenishment Strategies:

    • Access the menu path "Extended Warehouse Management" -> "Cross-Process Settings" -> "Define Replenishment Strategies."
    • Define replenishment strategies based on your business requirements. You can create multiple strategies for different scenarios.
    • Specify the source storage types, destination storage types, control indicators, strategy types (fixed bin, empty bin, etc.), and other parameters.
  5. Assign Replenishment Strategies:

    • In the same menu path, proceed to "Assign Replenishment Strategies."
    • Assign the defined replenishment strategies to the relevant warehouse process types and storage types.
    • Define priority sequences if you have multiple strategies assigned.
  6. Activate Replenishment for Storage Type:

    • In the menu path "Extended Warehouse Management" -> "Cross-Process Settings" -> "Activate Replenishment for Storage Type," select the storage type where you want to enable replenishment.
    • Set the "Replenishment Indicator" to "X" for the desired storage type.
