Dear experts,

Why does the Master Data Workbook information panel mention "Do not: Modify large number of records while other users are logged on":

What are "large number of records"? And what is the risk here?

Kind regards,
Vincent

"Large number of records" from my perspective might be any number in which the system will take several minutes to commit those changes.

About the risk, the issue is that you might lock other changes while the MD is being updated. That's why everything regarding Product could be the most critical, since almost all Planning Levels use this Attribute. So if you do massive changes to Product MD, and then upload information to KFs that have Product in the Planning Level, the system will first commit the MD changes.
