I am the SyE on an RFID Pilot. I am trying to get some insight on what configurations are required. I also need some information on best way to generate 24 Hex Unique ID's. Thank you!

Hi Jacob,

you can find Information about SAP EWM + RFID in the SAP online help:

In General SAP EWM uses the SAP AII for the integration, i.e. SAP AII is called for generating EPC codes and/or printing. And the RFID devices should be connected to SAP AII, it will send the decoded information (e.g. which HU number was scanned at which scanner) to SAP EWM to process the business logic.

SAP AII supports various codes within EPC Standard, it contains coding schema for SSCCs, locations, assets etc...
