RFID Integration with SAP Inventory Manager 4.3

Hi All,

We are to implement Inventory Manager 4.3 and RFID functionality is needed with the same.

Appreciate your help if you can share information on RFID integration with SAP Inventory Manager.

Ultimately you will probably need to develop the bridge interface between the Agentry client and the RFID scanning engine using the Open UI Open Scan interface.

This is included in the Open UI SDK portion of the SMP3 Agentry SDK. Included in the Open UI SDK are samples for the Open Scan interface you can use as a starting point for adding the RFID functionality you need.

I strongly recommend starting by getting the sample working as is first to confirm you have the compile / build process working before starting to make any changes to the interface for RFID scanning.

The other key question is what device / platform are you trying to do this for (Android, iOS, Windows WPF)?

Thank you for your kind response. The platform being used is Android.

Have you implemented the same? Can you give your expert insights on the challenges you came across?

Also, can you please tell if this is a compatible version?

I would recommend using the latest available SAP Mobile Platform SDK (AGENTRY SDK 7.1 SP01 PL02).

Although it doesn't utilize Open Scan the following blog will provide you some direction on creating your own Open Scan interface.
