RFID Integration with SAP EWM

Hi experts,

I wish to integrate an RFID system with EWM. The system is fully configured (all processes from inbound to outbound) to work with a barcode scanner, I need to do the same with RFID tags.

As per my understanding, integrating RFID with SAP EWM requires SAP Auto-ID to also be installed. Is this true, or can it be done without AII?

Any guidance/ direction is appreciated. I have only about a month of exposure in SAP, so the more explicit you are, the greater it is of help to me.

Request you to share SAP reference document on setting up RFID in EWM. If you have set up with S4 Hana embedded EWM would be more helpful.

You will require AII or some other sort of middleware to fully integrate RFID scanners with EWM..
