Hi all,

To enable RFID in EWM ,do we need integration between ERP-AII-EWM or just EWM-AII is enough?

Thanks & Regards

Vimal

Hi Vimal,

the RFID functionality with EWM is designed as EWM-AII Integration -> so no direct integration during the EPC code generation/printing etc. between ECC-AII.

The design is different compared to the RFID-Integration between ECC-AII for WM: For EWM we use the AII as a service for generating EPC codes, sending scan Events or printing Labels - the documents will stay in EWM.

But for Setting up the Scenario you need to have some of the number ranges (e.g HU number range/ILN setting) etc. in sync with ECC too.

Best regards,

Matthias

Thanks matthias,

1.Tell me the key thing that is mapped in all three systems? is that only number ranges or        packaging material types and hu's.

2.Whether i have to create products in AII as same name in ERP or transfer it through idoc.

3.For setting up initial config. we need to map number ranges from ecc to aii. but, tell me whether SSCC is mandatory if i am using only Handling units in ewm.

Hi Vimal,

you can find the required Integration steps in the SAP EWM Solution Manager Content.

You can access it also via the SAP EWM service-marketplace, e.g. for EWM 9.1 it's here:

Best regards,

Matthias

To have the complete solution you may have to integrate AII to ECC and EWM to AII..
