RF Functionality Usage of Low stock check - Auto PI creation when 0 stock or Low stock monthly

Hi we are on EWM 9.5 and we want to use the low stock check functionality that existing in the RF.

After testing the current functionality : the Low stock check pi document create a count once but after stop creating any future inventory count for the specific BIn triggered. Also there is no possibility to do count other than 0 qty.

Optimization : RF Combination of picking and confirming 0 or low stock inventory count to reduce the amount of physical count required.

Is there setup in SPRO setup for having the possibility of more frequencies Trigger automatically by RF low stock check example by month instead of once per year?

Is there a way to use Low stock check functionality to post inventory document different than 0 example with an exception code if the count is not 0?

Thank and let me know we want to avoid custom functionality and try to stay vanilla and providing the fonctionnality require.

I may clarify the requirement I have to filled.

There is. It is called "low stock / zero stock" for a reason. You enter the stock threshold in customizing.

Clarification of the Requirement:

I's not to trigger the functionality threshold I want to change the qty as I know a field exist for that. It is if a user find a different amount bigger than 0 they don't have to redo a physical stock count and can just do it in the same RF screen after the low stock check is trigger.

Question 1 : Is there an exception code existing that can be user with the RF low stock check screen to overwrite the 0 amount when necessary?

Question 2 : Low/zero stock check is a very good functionality to reduce the number of periodic count in our case it's a monthly count for each product that is required and the desire is to have it every month the low/zero count is trigger. Is there a future possibility of enhancement by SAP to have a possible PI_doc create monthly and avoid customizing? The low/zero stock check in RF screen come up currently more than it generate the PI doc so I wondered what is the value if the screen not always create a PI_doc as I was thinking it's technically the point of this functionality to have a confirmation of the count and a PI Doc?

No. For that you do cycle counting.

No. That's why it is called low stock check. A low stock check does not create PI documents, it is only for added stock security, to find positive differences early.
