RF Barcode more than 50 characters on Adhoc Product WT creation

Issue we are facing is, we have barcode with HU+Product+Batch which is exceeding 50 characters. When we try to enter this barcode on Adhoc Product WT 'Product' field, it only picks first 50 characters. Can we enable it to accept more than 50 characters.

Hi Mihaka, if I remember right standard screens for product accepts 50 symbols (conversion exit RFPR ). So you can change the screen to accept more symbols. Maybe you would need to use own conversion exit for processing. Or maybe standard barcode profile to parse such barcode (if it is correct formatted) and to fill values accordingly. I do not remember this issue not sure how it was handled by RF, but we used GS128 for similar case, and barcode was well parsed, it was implemented by my college, so maybe he adjusted the conversion exit. I gues you would only need to increase length of the input field by using of the other data element. Unfortunately you get only up to 64 with standard (limited by /SCWM/BARCODE) but theoretically can be increased.

Thanks for your response here Daniil. We are also using custom code right not to handle this, but wanted to check if any standard note can help us here.
