Restrict technician's access to see all reports in mobile app

Hello guys,

we have created some reports and a few of them are for technicians, so they should be seen in the mobile app. But technicians should not be allowed to see all reports including financial staff and so on. How can we restrict their access to these reports? Or from the other end, how can we give them access only to their reports?

We were hoping to create some OWN conditions in Permissions but it doesn't look like it is possible.

Do you have some solution, please?

There is an option to restrict the access to only selected reports for a technician.

To do this you can leverage the OrgStructure feature.

In short:

1. Define which reports you have and which technicians can access them

2. Group these reports (some might be available for all some only for a specific group)

3. Create an organizational structure based on this groups -> maybe there is other use cases for this so you might not even want to do it report specific.

4. Assign users to 0...n organizational levels

5. Assign reports to one specific organizational level

6. Define permissions for the users for Report Templates as "OWN_ORG" or "OWN_ORG_AND_HIERARCHY"

You should now only receive the Report Templates assigned to the same org or the same org incl. org levels below of the technicians assigned org levels.
