Restrict MF60 Staging OBD creation for EWM Rel Parts

Hi Guys,

We are doing EWM Release parts Staging via MF60. On clicking stage from MF60, system creates Staging OBD even if there is no available stock in Replenishment(REPL) location. We need to restrict this functionality so that system checks the available stock in Replenishment location and creates a staging OBD only for that available stocks.

Eg: Missing qty is 10EA. Repl Location Available Stock is 4 EA.

On clicking stage System creates Staging OBD for entire 10EA but task in EWM would be for 4EA.

Our requirement is that system should check available stock in REPL location and propose OBD only for 4EA. Incase of no stock,no OBD should be created, Kindly suggest how to achieve this in standard way.

Hi Shailesh,

Looks like it is only for Storage location level staging and not for EWM release parts.Even after making changes, system proposes full qty without stock during replenishment proposal.

Hello Amarjeet,

Please check the SAP KBA 2799628 - Outbound delivery is created when there is no inventory on MF60.

This KBA talks of missing customization if there is no inventory, no OBD will be created from MF60. Check your configuration and do the necessary.

Hi Amarjeet,

It is not possible with delivery based production interface. The stock of PSA will never be looked upon while replenishing PSA from Warehouse.

While replenishing with MF60, it looks for open deliveries.

It is possible with Advance production integration using cross order staging. The PMRs are created considering PSA stock.

Hi Shailesh,

Source REPL Location is my EWM WH Location - Available stock is 4EA.

Destination PSA Location - Available stock is 0EA whereas requirement quantity is 10EA.

While staging, system creates staging OBD for 10EA even though my available stock in Source REPL location is just 4EA.
