Dears,
As I check table /SAPAPO/RES_HEAD, I note NO values in the following fields against some resources.
/SAPAPO/CRES_GEN_LC_BACKWARDS
/SAPAPO/CRES_GEN_LC_FORWARD
What does this possibly mean?
Can the capacity of this resource be valuated by any of the programs that need to read resource parameters ?
Thanks
Amit

Btw the way RB, I much appreciate your prompt and detailed responses. Always. Takes a lot of patience to explain something to a half wit like me 🙂 But once you do I will suck the last leech out. Though the customer will never know what is happening even if these problems are solved. All they know is a + b = c. They do not even understand scheduling offsets,

What I do note is APO Resource header capacity scheduling parameters are what I see in APO Resource master in APO.. which means CFC9 settings are NOT considered when the former is maintained.
But the Planning Run only creates planned orders for the days maintained in CFC9 settings. + days. in my case 365.
I am tasked to find out why planned orders are not created for the period maintained in APO capacity header / RES01.
Thanks

Thanks RB,
Then what does the CFC9 setting of -30 / + 365 days do? Given we do delta of Resource Integration Models daily.
Which one takes precedence ?
The CFC9 -/+ days OR the APO Capacity Header planning parameters in CR01?
Thanks

Hello,
CFC9 parameter use during Intial and change transfer of resource master.
Which one takes precedence ?You can test this very well in your system.
In work center header you have planning parameters same will transfer to APO resource. If you don´t define the planning parameters, then will pick it from CFC9 settings in ECC.
Hope clear to you.

OM17 - all ok
RES01 is shows the same thing as RES_HEAD table
I still do not get what does the report
/SAPAPO/CRES_CAPACITY_LENGTHEN
Really do?
There is no such thing as time, days etc in it? What does it extend and where ?

Hello,
When you execute report /SAPAPO/CRES_CAPACITY_LENGTHEN from today on, the capacity of a resource in the livecache will be generated in the past or in the future respectively in accordance with the days- and days+ maintained in the planning parameters of the resource.

Hello,
Do you have LC_DAYS_MINUS and LC_DAYS_PLUS in resource master data?
Please check the resource in /SAPAPO/RES01.
Check the internal data consistency occurs using transaction /sapapo/om17 or run report /SAPAPO/CRES_CAPACITY_LENGTHEN for these resources.
