Reservation no. in EWM

Dear EWM guru,

        When production created reservation document and interface to EWM. We need to use reservation no. to find Outbound D/O on EWM to proceed. Is there any field on EWM Outbound delivery that refer reservation no.? Kindly suggest. Thanks.

Hi,

the number of your reservation is the number of your production order. You only see this number in EWM in case of pick parts, then only on item level. And you can search in the Warehouse Management Monitor on item level with the number of the production or manufacturing order.

Hi All,

Thank you for your solution.

Now, we are setting for using "Advanced Production Integration" for production process.

But we have an issue about other goods issue such as goods issue to cost center with mvt. 201.

The process steps are;

1. Create reservation for mvt. 201 via MB21 in ECC.

2. Create outbound delivery reference to reservation via MIGO in ECC.

3. Outbound delivery is replicated to EWM but no reservation number. ==> WH guys would like to search outbound delivery from reservation number.

Please suggest for this case.

does your outbound delivery in ERP show any reference to the reservation?

And the process is not supposed to work like this with EWM....

Hi,

if you are using the "Advanced Production Integration" which is available from EWM 9.2 on, then there are new objects "Production Manufacturing Request" which represent the production/process orders (or better the parts that are relevant for staging/consumption).

See transaction /SCWM/PMR. In these objects on item level the reservation number/item is contained as reference document (reference document category RES). You can find further information on this in the EWM online help (help.sap.com/ewm)
