Requirement with Deployment Optimizer

Hi All,

I have a requirement from my client related to Deployment Optimizer.

We have the below location Network (Transportation Lane).

Plant -- > Regional Distribution Center (RDC) -- > Depots. We have demand only at Depots.

Now my client wants to restrict deployment generation only by Stocks Category 'CC'. SO we created a custom category which included only 'CC' and assigned to same in SNP2 tab across all network.

After doing this we started facing issue like over distribution.

From Example - RDC to Depot, transit time is 7 days.

At Depot/RDC we have ATD Receipts restricted to just stocks.

Now what is happening is, system is only considering Physical stocks 'CC' as receipt element at Depot and not considering In-Transit stocks. This is generating excess deployment at Depot as system is finding Physical Stocks less than my safety stocks requirement.

If I assign 'ATR' category in ATD Receipt field, system is behaving correctly and not generating further deployment to depot as the safety stocks requirement is covered considering the In-Transit stocks.

But we want to restrict deployment to Stocks 'CC' and not face this issue of excess deployment.

Any inputs on this issue is much appreciated. Hope my question is clear.

We want to stick to standard Deployment. Please help.

Hello,

ATR = CC will not work, you need to add EF DEP: PReq and may be EI In Transit to it.

If you have changed the standard ATI category group make sure it has following.

BR Deliv.

EG DEP:ConRl

EQ StkTrsfDel
