Requirement segment on component is not taken from BOM header

Hi all

We have a setup where the material to produce has segmentation strategy enabled which is added to the BOM header details on the 'stock segment' field

However, because the component of this BOM is also segmented, we cannot assign a default segment on component level. The reasoning must be that it will default the header requirement based on the strategy setup (we linked the requirement segments 1 on 1)

However, on the planned orders generated by MRP, there is no requirement segment filled in on the component level, which impacts the MRP results

Is there any way we can enforce the component requirement segment based on the header segment?
