Report to get information about storage bin and related transactions

Hello all,

I have a column of data containing a bunch of storage bin numbers. I need a report from which I can get data about the activity area, last 4-8 transactions in a bin, any inventory related data, etc. Basically, more the data, the better.

I tried getting this information through /SCWM/LS03, but I have to key in one storage bin at a time to get this information. Is there a report where I can input multiple storage locations and get the same or more data?

Hi Mohan ,

1. You can use the TCode /n/scwm/ls11 -> (enter the warehouse no ) -> execute . Upon executing this TCode , you can see all the related information for all the storage bins present in the warehouse at a time .

2. Go to TCode - /n/scwm/mon -> stock and bin -> available stock -> (enter the product no range )

Note : uncheck exclude resource and exclude TU boxes .

From your thread it is not very clear what are the information you want to extract however instead of using /SCWM/LS03 my recommendation is to look the monitor (/SCWM/MON) stock and Bin node which will have most of the detail in one single window if this doesn't meet your requirement then I think you need to go for custom report

Thank you for your reply. I did think about this option and it does well in providing details about the Storage Type, Storage section, etc.

However, let me tell you why I want this report. Lets say I am counting my inventory and I find an error at a particular location. What sort of data/report will I need to identify what was the cause/why that error occurred?

For example, I also tried to get a report by inputting the storage bin number in the warehouse task node of /SCWM/MON and found that it gives a list of activity that occurred in that bin location.

Do you have any suggestions of reports/transactions for this kind of requirement?

when you say error what does that mean ? is it difference in between book vs actual if that is so then you need to look at the warehouse monitor PHYSICALINVENTORY node

This information is at summary level if you want to drill down and check the past history of that particular bin then you need to goto individual bin and check there is no readymade report available

When I say error, I mean if I am conducting a random audit (Not Annual Physical Inventory) and I find that the actual quantity differs from the quantity mentioned in the system.
