Dear experts,
We are facing a problem while creating Replenishment task from Replenishment warehouse request. When we run Planned Replenishment for a product and there is an open warehouse request document exists for the same Product, the replenishment quantity gets added into the open warehouse request.
We are using standard document type ‘SRPL’ for Replenishment
request document and using PPF action to trigger WT automatically form the
warehouse request document.
We are using a custom action profile (copy of ‘/SCWM/WMR’) to create WT
automatically by PPF.
We are maintaining condition records for the following goods movement status:
1. NSNS: Not Started -> Not Started
2. IPIP:In Processing -> In
Processing
Issue is with the second condition record. It is triggering
PPF and creating same task immediately in case of a task cancellation or
partial cancellation which is not required by business.
We cannot avoid maintaining an ‘IPIP’ condition record because of the partially
completed warehouse request document remains open for Products. When we run
Planned Replenishment for a product and there is an open warehouse request document
exists for the same Product, the replenishment quantity gets added into the
open warehouse request. And WT will not get created for the same if we do not
maintain an ‘IPIP’ condition record.
Is there any way so that we can avoid adding any
new replenishment quantity into an open warehouse request document?
Please also provide your expert view if this PPF behavior can be handled by any
alternative approach.
With thanks and regards,
