Is there any way or setting in SAP IBP, without VBA, to replace the standard __NULL (indicating that there is no Master Data Value in the Planning Object) by another text, for example "Total" or "N/A"?

Hi Vincent
In Excel, under Settings --> Options --> Display --> "Set default value in empty cells" you can maintain any value you like.

Hi irmhild.kuntze, thank you. I was not aware of this, so I am happy to learn about this functionality. However, is it correct that this seems to be related only to Key Figure values which were NULL?
However, what I am wondering is, if we can do the same for Attribute values which are (none) or __NULL? See also 2778133 - IBP: (None) and (Not Specified) always present in attribute value selection - SAP for Me.
Also: what is the technical difference between __NULL and (none)? I understand, from an end-user's perspective __NULL in general can be found on IDs and (none) on Descriptions? But what is the technical determination of the system to show __NULL or (none)? Is it correct that __NULL is the default shown for Master Data that is not part of the Planning Object whatsoever? And (none) is the default in case the (non-root?) Master Data Attribute has no value, while the Attribute however IS part of the Planning Object?
