Rename member in IBP Excel Addin 2102

Hello!

I am facing a problem in renaming members in the SAP IBP planning view using Excel addin 2102. I do not find any button "override" in Edit report section but i can only create local members.

Is there a way to rename a key figure in the report of SAP IBP planning view?

That would be in the Settings --> Options --> tab "Member names", search in the left upper side in the members for "Key Figures" and mark it, then mark the key figure you want to rename and in the field at the bottom "New Name for Member" you should be able to overwrite the description, click on button "Overwrite" and confirm with "OK".

Works like a charm, but you have to save it as favorite or template to keep the setting.

Yes, you can rename acutal KFs as well. Please refer to my screenshot

I have actually remaned all the standard KFs here. Hope this helps

Go to the template admin section and click on the little black arrow beside "Advanced" and in the popup to "Report Editor". In the next popup, in the top click on "Local Member" where you mark the local member you want to rename. It will then show up in the right side, where you can then simple overwrite and confirm with the "OK" button

What if I want to rename a Key Figure which is not a local member but just a simple KF?
