Hi All, I am stuck with a issue. I am trying to create a RFC connection Under SM59--> TCP/IP Connection-->Register Server Program--> Program id. After testing the connection it is having the below attached error. However gw/acl_mode =0 is set for registration of external program. And reg_info and sec_info file is also created. But for allowing every ip how should we configure that. How to solve this??

Hello Murtaza,

Please refer to the SAP KBA 1850230 and to this SAP wiki page.

Confirm that you have the appropriate reginfo rules.

Also confirm that the "gateway options" in the SM59 destination is pointing to the gateway host and service of the RFC Gateway where the "MULE01" program is being registered.

Thanks Isaias ,

How to register "MULE01" program which is mentioned in RFC Creation SM59-->TCP/IP-->Register server program -->Program id. The program id I gave is "MULE01". Do we first need to register it cause it is giving error return code Error Details DETAIL: TP MULE01 not registered. I tried to register it with SE38 -- Create program --RSBDCOS0--Execute program. And run the program on <program name> -a<program ID> -g<SAP gateway hostname> -x<gatewayservice>. While testing the program under SMGW--LOGGED ON CLIENT. The TP is not registered there too.

Hello Murtaza,

How to register the program depends on the software that should perform the registration.

So, the first question is: what system should be performing the registration? Is it an SAP system (like an SAP PI / PO system)? Or is it a third-party system ("MuleSoft", perhaps, since the program name is "MULE01")?

If it is a third-party system, then you should involve the support team related to that system, so they assist you with the configuration of that software, so it performs the registration of the desired program name, at the desired RFC Gateway.
