Regarding Totes & Trolley

Hi All

I have a requirement in my inbound process, i am using POSC + LOSC (Unloading->GR-Zone->Deconsolidation-> Bin Drop->Final Putaway), in this inbound cycle we want to use fixed HU for Totes and Trolley with Bar Code so that user will scan Tote and put the material in Tote and he will send this tote to Bin Drop Area where Binner will bin the material.

So here my query is, how to create fixed HU with fixed number range per HU, so that it will be reused again.

Hi pandit

use pick HU concept with external HU NR. So that once that are created they will be not deleted and can use as your process inside WH at WT level.

Thanks for your reply..

External HU Nr Range is fine but can you put some more light on Pick HU concept, when we are going for deconsolidation of HU that time we have two options, one is to give Packing Material No. and HU Number, another is to give Destination HU / Bin, so which we need to select.

I have completed External HU Nr Range config and tested one cycle with external number range of HU, but i am not able to use the same HU again, it is giving one error :

Repacking in final storage bin is not allowed

Message No. /SCWM/UI_PACKING148

When i am looking in Warehouse Monitor, then this HU is already there with the Product, can you suggest me some solution.

After implementing this Note, Am i able to use the same HU to use in deconsolidation process again, because right now this HU(Tote) is showing with Product A in Warehouse Monitor in Available Stock, now i have received Product B and i want to use the same HU(Tote) at the time of Deconsolidation.

I have closed other calls and trying to implement the same note which manish has given.

I have one more issue which is mentioned below :

No mixed storage permitted in storage type AG04. Maximum 1 HU per bin

Message No. /SCWM/HU_WM024

I found one note for this error, note number - 1976836, when i am going to implement this note then system is saying can not implement.

Any Suggestion please.

Hi Pandit,

first the process you are doing wrong.

The tote is like pick hu and it will be always carrier for product.

Then now you to free that tote if you want to use further. At present you can see tote as nested HU. where has your final bin should have actual HU ot tote.

So make the process so that final bin will have actual HU not the tote. so you can use that once again.

Activate mixed storage in storage type and crate new bin and check.

also check storage type master data has any customization HU per bins.

or check do you have capacity management.

check you have pallet sectioning or bulk sectioning.

Lot many factors can affect this.

and I seen you last many post in SCN and seen that every ware people has helped you but you have not liked there post even it was helpful and resolved ur issue. I hope this not good way of expecting help from others

I will definitely put my comments in all posts and i will like useful posts also.

I have maintained Storage Type Data as attached screen shot, my requirement is addition to existing stock/empty bin and i am not using this for pallet / bulk, this for small medium & large parts

So can you please let me know is this right or something wrong.

Secondly, in which tab i can create PICK HU in Deconsolidation Table.
