Hi Experts,
We have reference available capacity in ECC of category "001"(machine) and have assigned it to multiple workcentres with also capacity category 001 and integrated to APO. While changing the shift pattern in ECC for the available capacity a queue is generated to APO with message "Resource type 00 does not exist" and the capacities updated in ECC is not integrated to APO and only while reactivating the integration model the capacities are updated in APO. Can you please shed some light on this topic.
Thanks in advance.

Hello,
The settings in CFC9 and the setup of work center and its capacities is in line with the discussion with the link and the SAP note 674838. We still have the error message in the queue.
Thanks for your support.

Hello,
You are right just wanted to highlight that we do not have the pooled capacity check box checked in the capacity header but rather assigned the reference capacity to the resource capacity.
The error message we get in application log is "Resource type 00 does not exist" with Message no. /SAPAPO/DMRES168.
Thanks.

Hello,
To transfer shift from ECC to APO please refer my reply from this discussion,
https://answers.sap.com/questions/12510482/integration-of-shift-patterns-between-apo-and-ecc.html
And refer SAP note 674838 Resource transfer from APO Release 4.0

Hello,
Thanks for your feedback. I was able to validate the consulting note 1581889. The capacities ID matches with the one integrated in KAKO as suggested in the note and the queue is stuck in APO gives a different message(Resource type 00 does not exist, Message no. /SAPAPO/DMRES168) than what is suggested in the note.
The reference available capacity is created in transaction CR11 and assigned to the resource under capacities header as reference available capacity and not as a pooled capacity. The reference capacity is changed in ECC (in transaction CR12) and this tiggers a generation of a queue which fails with the above message.
Thanks.

Hello,
Why are you updating shift in ECC system? You can do that directly in APO resource master /SAPAPO/RES01.
Please refer cobsulting note 1581889 - Resource nnn does not exist
