Hello all,

I would like to understand J7LMS report. How the declaration form is getting generated.

How the quantities are getting determined in the declaration form.

Please share as much as information.

nice coincidence that you are are also facing a question concerning J7LMS and posted a question two days ago, so i won´t open a new thread myself.

On your question:

Actually J7LMS (Create REA declaration) reads the information from the individual billing documents, so from table VBRK and VBAP (check your settings in J7LC - Customizing General control). Then it checks that against your recycling partner (for which you run the J7LMS for the company code) and the maintained price list (for the fractions you set up).

The materials that you have billed will then be checked if you have created REA articles (master data) for that, where you have maintained of which fractions the materials consist of.

Thats how then with the price list the price calculation can take place - the forms to print it etc. is all predefined by REA and can be maintained in the recycling partner master.

Anyway a question on your (test) system: When you execute J7LMS in the system, do you get results?
Because i am currently facing the issue that i always get the messages that "No entries could be selected", und "No MM characteristics found for period XX.XX.XXXX-XX.XX.XXXX".

I think i have set up everything correctly (as in a previous system), but somehow J7LMS can´t find any entries.

Would be interesting if you are getting results there, because actually i know where it comes from, but somehow SAP doesn´t find any entries.
