Hello Experts,
We use the wave-management functionallity to supply the production lines. The waves are released automatically. When the system can't find available item for the delivery the system changes status of waves to "E". After ensuring the availability of needed parts the waves are released by the background program. It is ok.
But here is the question. If the wave is released and has a status "R" - the system correctly created all of warehouse tasks for picking. But during the picking the employee used the excepction code (pick denial, or partial pick denial) and the additional stock isn't available. Such waves have status "R" - because all of tasks were created correctly! Now it is a need to re-release the same wave after ensuring the availablitly of item. I know that I can re-release wave again manually. But is it possible to run the background program for re-releasing of waves with status "R"?
Is there such functionality in standard?
Thank you in advance,
Best Regards,
Marek

Hi marcuss
The wave status would change from R to E if cancellation or difference confirmation via wave template condition till 9.3. Please read the OSS Note
2169419 - Wave status set to "E" during cancellation or difference confirmation
Additional Info:
2425676 - Wave Header status is not updated after Cancel picking
"But is it possible to run the background program for re-releasing of waves with status "R"?""
As per my understanding, Not Possible without BADI/Z-Version of
/SCWM/R_WAVE_RELEASE .

Ajit

Hi svenblijleven ,
Unfortunately I didn't 😞
I have created the variant node in warehouse monitor /SCWM/MON and the user can display all of waves with warehouse tasks for which the exception codes were used. A few times per shift the employee have to manually re-release the waves with such cases.
It doesn't look nice but we are used to work this way.
Please let me know if you find some solution 😉
Best Regards,
Marek
