Quota arrangement in SNP heuristic

Dear all,

we want to use inbound quota arrangement in snp heuristic to distribute the demand among different ppm. But it seems that the snp heuristic don't respect periodic lot sizes in case of quota arrangement. In product master we have defined 2 weeks periodic lotsize. But the heuristic applies muliple planned oders for the same day. Any ideas?

Dear Senthil,

i checked the documentation but i couldn't find the explicit exclusion of periodic lotsizes in case of quota arangement.

They mention -> Procedure (lot-for-lot, fixed lot size etc.)

Due to "etc." i would expect that all lot size procedures are supported.

Hi Christian,

I checked in sap help files also and found that SNP heuristic does not support periodic lot sizes in terms of quota arrangements. I have given below the lot size supported by sap from sap help as follows:-

Lot size

· Procedure (lot-for-lot, fixed lot size etc.)

· Safety stock method

Hi Christian,

1) Please check whether the requirement split was checked while maintaining quota arrangements. If it is checked, the requirements will get split as we defined.

2) In material master of APO, in Lot size --- procedure tab, please check whether period type is defined or not.(as no of days, week or month)

Split indicator is not set. Period type is W=week and number of periods = 2.

Seems that master data is correct.
