Quota Arrangement based on quantity constrains

Dear SAP Community,

Do you know an option in APO or R3 for quota arrangement logic to create splits based on quantity limits rather than based on the a percentage of ordered quantities?

We source part numbers from two vendors.

One of them has a weekly maximum capacity.

The other one has no capacity constraints but it supposed to receive only the orders above those, which cannot be managed by the first supplier

We want to order our exact needs, and we need to order from the first supplier until our periodic demand reaches its capabilities.

Hello,

Heuristic consider inbound quota arrangements for sources with minimum /maximum lot size.

Minimum /maximum lot size are defined in the sources of supply, so for vendor 1 you can defined maximum lot size say 5000 EA and for second vendor minimum lot size from 50001 EA.

I think this should work for you.
