"Stock can be added" tab does not show any data during Putaway

Hello Experts,

Stock can be added Tab shows a data during warehouse task creation if stock of the material already exists in warehouse however if the material is quality managed then tab does not show any data.

Configuration details -

At Storage type level - Putaway rule value is set to 2 and mixed storage is also allowed

After successful UD, posting change WT generated, changing stock type from Q3 to F1

During Putaway task creation, Stock can be added tab does not show any value as with addition to existing stock strategy, system always looks for similar attributes such as same product, Same Batch, same stock type etc

kindly suggest if data in stock can be added tab be shown even if Stock type for a material during put away WT creation is different than stock type of existing stock.

Hello Ajit,

Thanks for your response but according to documentation provided it says " If the field is blank, different stock types are allowed. If it is selected, the products or batches must all belong to the same stock type."

Thanks for your response. After different permutations and combinations, I finally achieved the requirement without any BADI. Here is what I have done.

There are 2 ways, we can have addition to stock for batches where different batches can be mixed in same bin.

1. Use Bulk Storage Type and maintain Available Qty Batches to Batch Neutral in Storage Type settings.

2. Use Standard Storage Type and maintain Available Qty Batches to Batch Neutral in Storage Type settings. Adding to this, we also need to maintain Putaway Rules as General Storage Area in Storage Type Search Strategy in Goods Receipt Process.
