"Enter Storage location" error while confirming Production Order

Hi Experts,

When i try to confirm a operation for production order, system throws error message "Enter Storage Location".

Please help ASAP.

Hi Tamil,

If you maintain, in CSO2, it will work only for that BOM of the Header Material.
If you want this storage location should work for all the cases, you should maintain in the Material Master, of that Component in MRP 2 view).

Hello,

Please check the storage location maintain in production order good receipt tab also check for components too.

If issue is for particular product then check storage location maintain in material master MRP2 view.

Storage location is not found for some components in the order.

Hello,

Yes you should maintain it in BOM through CS02 or material master MRP 2 view through MM02.

After that it will work for new production orders, however for existing production orders you need to perform the function, Read PP master data through CO02.

Enter the Storage Loc from where you want to consume the stock, while backflush.

click "Goods Movement" option in the confirmation screen, you will find your components, then enter the right Storage loc.
