Question On APO DP Macros

Team, We have a requirement to write a APO DP Macro to satisfy below condition, Consider Key Figures in the planning book, as below,

The macro should first identify the period upto which KF I is present (in the above case Period 6) and then Release the values of KF II from next period onwards i.e Period 7 to SNP. We can create an intermediate Key Figure as required to copy first and then use for releasing to SNP. However, I wanted to understand if any standard macro functions are available in DP to achieve the identification of the period, as explained above. If any of you have worked on such a requirement, please let me know
