Quality Work Center Capacity Check in Embedded EWM

Hi,

We had defined POSC as below.

1. Unload

2. Decon

3. Quality

4. Final Putaway

In QC-Area we can not have more than 2 PAL. If 3rd pallet received then WT should not be created unless QC area is free. Also with batch job WT should be created automatically as soon as QC-area is free.

Can we achieve this with standard SAP configuration?

Hi,

You can try making your QC-area with "Storage Behavior: Bulk Storage" and set max. HUs to 2 and see if it works in your scenario.

Not really AFAIK. A work center does not have anything like a capacity. A bin can have a capacity and you could create an error when reaching this capacity. But all you get then is something stuck in the queue.

That's what inbound sections in work centers are for.
