Pvot chart/Table in IBP-Excel UI

I am trying to create dashboard in Excel UI.I am using Pivot table and chart for doing so.
The Excel UI data will be updated monthly in Planning Area. WIll it be Automatically reflected in source table and thus in the Pivot chart.
Is it Possible or is there any other approach

Hi Sukriti,

You can add a pivot chart in the planning view (add another sheet in the template which is not a planning view and create a pivot). However, it won't refresh automatically. Either you need to use some macro to adjust the data range and refresh with the new data or manually refresh it which is pretty straightforward.

You can change the layout of the planning view to have the values in columns rather than rows and the Periods in the rows rather than the columns and use the resulting table as base for your pivot.
