Putaway Physical inventory with HU WT

Hello EWM Gurus,

I configured the putaway physical inventory but while testing no physical inventories got created.

I double checked the customizing which seems fine and I am aware of the conditions to meet:

• The storage bin is empty.
• Mixed storage is not permitted for the relevant storage type, in other words, only one quant exists.
• You are putting stock away for the first time in the physical inventory year.

Note that in my process the putaway is done with HU WT.

After some research I found OSS note "2026643 - Putaway physical inventory with HU warehouse tasks" mentioning that "A putaway physical inventory is only ever possible for product warehouse tasks".

I was surprised as I this is the first time I read this system constraint in an SAP documentation.

Can anyone confirm that it is actually not standard to have putaway PI with HU WT?

Is there any update regarding this issue ? I am facing the same and I don't know what to do for the Putaway PI with HU WT.

I don't have access to the support Portal of SAP, so I cannot check the OSS notes mentioned in your comments.

I found another OSS note confirming that putaway PI does not work with HU WT. (OSS note 1853488).
