Put Away Batch with Restricted Status using RF - Putaway by HU menu

Hi,

For an inter-company STO scenario, I have allowed GI ( from supplying WH ) and GR ( in receiving WH ) for a Batch with Restricted status by the Extended Warehouse Management->Cross Process Settings-> Batch Management-> Batch Status Management path. Now I want to Put away the GR'd Batch ( still in Restricted Status) using RF menu Inbound Process->Putaway->Putaway by HU. When I tried that I am getting error " E: Product XXX, batch YYY in HU ZZZ has the status 'not released' (/SCWM/BATCH046)" . But When I tried to do the Putaway using RF menu Inbound Process->Putaway->Putaway by WO , it worked . Also I am able to confirm the WT manually ( not using RF ). What is the reason behind these options behaving differently.
