Dear all,
server updates are done regularly - and for that server restarts are
necessary.
After every restart a check is done to control if service SAPPEServer is
running (ATSRVEAPCS01, ATSRVEAQCS01) - and usually it runs.
After that a connection check is done (SM59) for the weighing systems.
REsult: 80% are connected, 20% are not. As only one service is used, all
ore none should be connected.
Is it possible, that the socket connection is not logged of correctly
during shut down of the server?
Or is there any problem with reconnection?
Our workaround is to restart the service each time manually after some
hours.
But we want to avoid that manual correction is necessary every time - so
we ask you to describe how the right process would be.
We would very appreciate your input on this? Is this an error within SAP Software or within the Network itself? We could not find any network error. Does somebody know this kind of troubles with Prologa?
kind regards
Beatrix
