Hello,
Thank you very much for your question and sorry for the late reply.
Can you please check whether the following information (GenAI was used to help generate this content) solves your issue?
To change the behavior of the planned Goods Issue (GI) date update in SAP S/4HANA, you can utilize the Configurable Parameters & Formulas (CPF) tool to define business rules that influence the sales order process at runtime. This allows you to maintain control over the pricing date based on your specific requirements.
Define Factory Calendar Rules: S/4HANA Q2C Sales Flexibility – Determine Requeste… - SAP Community Set up rules to determine the factory calendar, which will be used in the order process.
Define Parameter Catalog for Pricing Date: S/4HANA Q2C Sales Flexibility – Determine Requeste… - SAP Community Use SSCUI to define parameters that will be used to build the CPF decision table.
Define Formulas for Pricing Date: Create CPF formulas to specify how the pricing date should be determined.
Assign Custom Routines to Sales Document Types: S/4HANA Q2C Sales Flexibility – Determine Requeste… - SAP Community Link the custom routine to the sales document type to ensure the pricing date is calculated according to your business rules.
Test the Configuration: Create a sales order and verify that the pricing date is determined according to the rules you have set.
By following these steps, you can ensure that the planned GI date does not automatically update the pricing date unless specified by your custom business rules.
For more detailed guidance, you can refer to the SAP help documentation on flexible proposal of pricing dates.
