Production order component UoM issue in post consumption fiori App

Hi Team,

we have production order with component in LB and material master is updated BoUM as "KG" and Unit of Issue as LB" in Plant/storage tab.

stock is maintained in KG in EWM.

staging is doing with KG's and while staging user has to enter the Qty and change UoM to LB manually. User has to do same thing while posting consumption with Post consumption fiori app.

Is this standard behavior or we need to do any configuration.

we thought of updating Pref UoM in product master but that is our last option.

Please advise. we are using S/4 HANA embedded 2021
