Product Interchangeability with Supersession chain for confirming sales orders

Hi All,

I have question regarding product interchangeability supersession chain. We are planning to have a setup where Product A is fully replaced by Product B triggered by RBA04 Integrated Rule Maintenance using Interchangeability Supersession chain master data. We are setting up supersession chain -- Product A is fully interchangeable with Product B. In my case when we get a sales order for Product A (even though product A has plenty of available stock) we would like to first check Product B and confirm the sales order for product B. Only after consuming all the stock for Product B then it has to check for Product A and confirm the sales order for product A. I tried with all the options in supersession chain and RBA rule control however I am not getting the result I expect. Please help me with any ideas or configuration options where I can check for this requirement.
