Product interchangeability with FFF class on embedded PP DS

Hi,

I am trying to use the FFF class with embedded PPDS. The materials are marked with advanced planning. I have created the mpn-mrp sets. This is working correctly on the S4 side but not working when the materials are made PPDS relevant.

Is there a different master data maintenance or do we need to CIF the FFF class in the PPDS layer to make this work?

Hello,

You can only transfer simple discontinuation data via CIF. You will have to maintain the discontinuation FFF class in /INCMD/UI.

Hi,

Thanks for your response. I have maintained the FFF class in /incmd/ui but still this does not seem to work. My leading material is X and the FFF class has 2 materials X and Y. FERT material is A, which has material X has the component. I have enough stock of material Y to cover the dependent demand coming from material A but still system creates a preq for material X. Is the FFF class really supported with PP/DS or my understanding of how FFF class works is not correct.
