Product Allocation at a Product Hierarchy level

Hello everybody,

We have been successful in implementing Product Allocation in APO at Material level. Is it possible to do Allocation at one of the levels of Product Hierarchy in APO?

Can anybody help me with an answer, please?

Hello Subash,

It's system standard behavior that you can't customize Product Allocation at Product Hierarchy level.

Product allocations are assigned to a product allocation object. The product allocation object is the reason for allocating quantities, and can be one of the following:

- Product or a product group.

- Component.

- Season.

- Production line.
