Process chain error

Hi Gurus,

please help me on my question.

There are two levels of planning. Initial statistical forecast generated for volume which is sent to value planning, while value adjustments are done in review meetings, relatively volume becomes negative due to reduction in value.when the process chain is run, it throws an error not accepting the negative forecast values.

My question is how to exclude the negative forecast CVC's and run the process chain again.

Thank you for getting back to me on this query. The planning happens at aggregate level, so when the value planning happens and is reduced at aggregate level, relatively when it is released to volume planning for certain SKU's volumes becomes negative and the process chain error happens.

can you provide an example how your qty. is becoming negative? Example if; stat. fcst gave 1000qty with a total value of 2000$ (considering 2$ per pcs). Now if I reduce initial value from 2000$ to 2$ still I have 1pcs which is positive quantity (volume).

Could you explain in above example what extra is happening so that scenario is clear enough? Though your situation could be avoided by macro but want to make sure first we understand the scenario.
