Priorize externalization with procurement type "X"

Are there any option to priorize merchandise in SAP APO when procurement type is defined as "X" in SAP ECC?

Dear limoscense,

if the requriment is to change from ''X'' to ''F'' at product master level in APO, you can do so within CIF user exit  (BADI: SMOD_APOCF005).

Transportation Lanes can also have distinct procurement type (BESKZ) if the business scenario uses T-lanes.

Hi Geri,

Thanks for your answer. We have already implmented this badi for other purposes, however, we need that materials have "X" in APO, but we need to priorizy purchase to production, but the user could change the purchase requisition to a planned order if thew want.
