Priority to Pereishable item rather than non-pereishable items In RF.

Hi All ,

Currently there is a requirement for priority items.

During inbound we need perishable items to be putaway rather than non-perishable items .

This needs to happen in RF .

The system need to prioritize the task for perishable items rather than non-perishable items .

How can we achieve this .

any ideas , please share .

...use different warehouse process type determination indicator to determine separate WPT. Based on this you can determine separate queue und sort this queue ahead of your 'normal' queue in the sequence for the resource group. This way you are also able to determine separate staging area (which might be useful as you can still proceed using semi-system guided RF processing and do not have to switch to full system-guided and mandate the operators to putaway specific objects.

I have done the same way above and made the sequence in such a way the perishable item are put away in the bin first .

It worked perfectly fine .
