Prevent the creation of WTs with partial pallet quantity from bulk.

In case of current problems with the configuration we want it to not be possible to create WTs with partial pallet quantity from bulk. Is this something i can adjust in the customizing of storagetype level?

Why should the storage type be maintained as "Pallet"? The following setup works with any storage behaviour: standard, pallet and bulk.

you need two different storage type search sequences for stock removal, one only for your storage type(s) for full pallets, one for your storage type(s) meant for partial pallets. You find one or the other using quantity classification, as Sushant mentioned. Default quantity classificator for pallets is 4 and can be assigned to the corresponding pack specification or to a given alternative unit of measure (for example PAL).

This will work, as far as you always get delivery items either only for full pallets or only for partial quantities. If you also need SAP to perform a "split" in the strategy, as described by Sushant, then you need to use rounding to full units in your warehouse process type / storage type customizing.

Let's say that 1 PAL = 100 EA. Your WHR has 430 EA. Here you have two options:

• Round whole units "2" (round down to single unit). Then you will get 5 warehouse tasks: 4 x 1 PAL and 1 x 30 EA.
• Round whole units "3" (round down to multiple of a unit). Then you get 2 WTs: 1 x 4 PAL and 1 x 30 EA.
