PPF action not triggered automatically

Hello EWM experts,

I have an issue with PPF action in the current system.

Every time the action is created, e.g. print WO, send ERP message, it is always in yellow status.

I have to manually process the action.

At first, I thought it was because of RFC connection because there is an RFC connection issue in SMQS monitor.

But now the even the action to print WO also has the same issue. I have to manually print the WO in monitor. So I think it's not because of the RFC connection.

This is the first time I encounter this issue.

Could anyone suggest how to solve this?

It could be that the flag "Schedule Automatically" hasn't been set within the action definition under Action Settings.

If that isn't the case then it could be a delay problem. Please refer note 2958350 for possible resolution for ppf delays.

Hi Tri,

Please check Action Definition -> Action Setting ->Processing At .

If this is - Processing using a selection report then you need to process each manually using SPPFP Tcode.

If yes, try to change to Processing when document saved option and check.

Hello Srikanth Adivanna,

Yes, all of the actions I mentioned has the processing 4- processing when saving document.

I haven't changed any standard settings of the actions.
