PPDS Shift Definitions vs Shift definition maintained at S4(External Capacity)

Hi Team,

In S4 with embedded PPDS, I see two ways to manage Shift definitions:

1. Define the Shifts in S4 and transfer the Resources to PPDS, allowing them to reference the external capacity maintained in S4.

2. Modify the transfer settings in CFC9 by unchecking "external capacity," then transfer the Resources to PPDS and maintain the Shift definitions directly in S4-PPDS.

Additionally, I would like to understand if there is any impact when using shift definitions maintained in the PPDS system from a Fiori perspective. Do Fiori apps read and recognize the shift definitions & Downtimes stored in PPDS?
