PPDS secondary resources

Hi all

we have the following requirement in PPDS:

2 lines for semifinished items and 1 line for finished items

when we use the line for pakaging we need to block same capacity of the semifinish line. The problem is that we have 1 order for semi and order for finished.

I can set up secondary resources, but for the finised order I can pack from any of the semifinished lines, so I don´t know when creating the PDS what secondary resource to use

Hello,

In this case you can use the pool capacity CR11 for packaging and associated to the manufacturing resources semifinished and finished good line. Create an additional capacity category on the production line resource and associate a pooled capacity

So that only one product will be schedule on packing's line. so finished good will occupy the capacity of semfinished.
