PPDS Production Planning issue

Hello expert,

I am new to the SAP PPDS and need your help on below S4PPDS(v1909) production planning issue.

I have created FG and a component and CIFed to PPDS with resources and PDS. In RRP3, I have created the 2 Fcst Requriment for the same date and execute the SAP_PP_002 heuristic. It creates 2 planned orders at the FG level but 3 dependent requirements at the components level.

I was expecting 2 dependent requirements at the components level.

Kindly let me know is any more settings required to get the actual result.

Hello Brahmankar,

Thank you for your reply.

There is only one component in the FG material.

And If I only run the product heuristics(before saving the data), It creates 2 planned orders at the FG level and 2 dependent requirements at the component level. once I saved the data in the RRP3, 3 dependent requirements are created at the component level.

Why do order 3331 have two dependent requirements with different quantity and 3332 have one?

Please check the BOM in details in CS03 and PDS in /SAPAPO/CURTO_SIMU for component requirement

How many components are there in your BOM of FG materials?

2 Fcst Requirements for the same date then it should be for two different FGs. Please check these FG BOM and PDS for components.

Please share the screen shot of product view for dependent requirements.
